I got me this lamp because i just wanted it. It was a gamble if it would be any good. But i can say that i like it. Have used it in home for now at a low setting on the warm light and 1 dot of the 4 lasts 8 hours. The magnets work really well. I will probably use it when working in the winter. I am sure it will work fine in smaller places. It is bulky and a bit heavy. But for me it’s no problem at all. I do recommend this awesome lamp.

I've just completed a 3-week camping trip in outback Australia, The Flextail ouTask lantern was used every evening to illuminate meal preparation and cooking, games etc. All other camp lanterns are just tired variations on a design that hasn't changed for decades. The beauty of the ouTask lantern for me is that the light is high and shines down onto the work area providing a large illuminated area but without blinding me. Flextail have clearly put a lot of thought about what users really need into the design. This was the go-to lantern for the trip. Bravo Flextail.
